Phi Phi sunrise Trips early morning

6 islands make up this beautiful and world famous location, situated in the southeast Andaman Sea. We concentrate our tour on the two main islands famous for their natural beauty and spectacular underwater scenery. Phi Phi Don, the largest island, is the only one of the six to have accommodation and its surrounding waters have been a Mecca for divers and snorkelers alike for well over 30 years. Phi Phi Leh is the smaller of the two main islands and is a designated Marine National Park. It is, of course, world famous for Maya Bay where the movie The Beach was filmed. It takes us between an hour and an hour and a half from Royal Phuket Marina to reach the Phi Phi Islands. The Phi Phi Sunrise tour is therefore suitable throughout the ‘High Season’ (November – April) and selected days during the low season due to the variable sea conditions and its isolated location.
We do not guarantee you will see the Sunrise on each trip and the timings for sunrise do vary. Cloudy days can make it difficult to see the sunrise. ‘Sunrise’ for Simba is defined by an early start, in most cases 2 hours before other companies depart Phuket for Phi-Phi Islands.
Be warned… it is an early start! We aim to leave the marina at 6/6.30am and be back by 2/2.30pm. (This will be confirmed when you contact us on arrival, with your hotel name, number, etc. as requested).
To give you the very best day we can, our tour is very flexible. We juggle the tide, weather, customer ability and the crowds to give you the best day possible. This may mean the omission of some locations, but never at the expense of your enjoyment! Other companies may promise you the world, but we want to enjoy the places we visit.
Below a sample itinerary and general over view of the places we visit on this trip destination.
Duration 7/8 hours on the water (approximately).

Maya Bay
Normally ( tide dependent ) our first stop, Maya Bay was made famous by the film "the Beach" staring Leonardo DiCaprio in 2000. This is a "must see" for most tourists so it gets very busy, however we usually arrive before everyone else so you can enjoy the bay to yourselves for a while and take a few photographs without the crowds. If this is our first stop we will enjoy a light breakfast on the beach.

Pileh Lagoon - tide dependent
Our next port of call if tide allows is Phileh Lagoon, among the Simba staff (on and off the boats) this is our favourite location on Phi Phi. It is a spectacular emerald green lagoon surrounded by high limestone cliffs on 3 sides, one of the worlds most gorgeous natural swimming pools. This location has become famous for our traditional jump off the front of the boat and of course that shot of yourself in mid air (please have a look at our photo gallery). If you are less adventurous, you can simply use the steps at the side of the boat and enjoy these beautiful waters.

Morning Snorkelling
It is now time to explore the magical underwater world with some snorkelling. We have a few locations to choose from, Viking Cove, Loh Somah Bay, Dragon Lagoon, Straight Rock or Par Dang. Which location we choose will depend on the sea conditions, tide and other tour groups on the day. We supply all your snorkelling equipment including flippers (fins) and floatation aids such as life jackets and swim noodles. The staff are always there (in and out of the water) ready to help any first timer with encouragement, advice and sometimes just a helping hand.

Monkey Beach
Time to catch up with the locals on Monkey Beach. Everyone loves the monkeys but we are a little bit more cautious. They can and do bite so we ask everyone to be aware and listen to the tour guides instructions. Respect that they are wild animals. If we all behave in a safe, appropriate manner, then we never have a problem! Please remember no feeding the Monkeys as you will be fined if caught by the authorities.

Afternoon Snorkeling
After lunch it's time to say hello to the fishes again with another snorkelling stop. Options include Nui Bay (Camel Rock), Mosquito Island, or Hin Klan. All these places have coral reefs with an abundance of sea life.
